Additional Information
The Memorial Angels were created from a place of compassion, understanding, and the desire to offer something meaningful when words aren’t enough. Each angel is a gentle tribute — a way to honour a precious baby, acknowledge the love that remains, and offer comfort to grieving hearts.
Encased within a clear glass dome with a natural cork base, each angel features a hand-painted wooden peg doll with felt wings, a delicate halo, and carefully chosen dried flowers, crystals, and embellishments. The design captures the fragility and beauty of life while offering a lasting symbol of remembrance and peace.
Originally made for families who had booked antenatal classes but sadly experienced loss, these angels have since become a cherished keepsake for many — a way to say “I see you, I remember, and I care.”
Each colour carries its own quiet meaning:
Pink – to honour a baby girl
Blue – to honour a baby boy
White – for when the gender is unknown, or as a universal symbol of purity and peace
Natural - is also available for those who prefer a simple, unpainted finish
Some families choose to keep their angel beside a photo, within a memory box, or as part of a small remembrance space at home. Others gift one to a friend or loved one as a tangible expression of care — a small but powerful way to say, “your baby mattered.”
Every angel is made by hand in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand, with deep respect for the families they represent. As no two pieces are ever identical, each one is as unique as the life it honours.
Please note: the felt wings are chosen intuitively to complement each angel’s design, adding to their unique charm. Wing colours may vary, but if you have a preferred colour, you’re welcome to mention it when ordering.
